Why we charge what we do for shipping:

At the honed thistle we believe in transparency and fairness. Because we are a small business, secondhand business, we don't receive the same discounted shipping rates that large corporations do. Instead we base our prices on real world costs including:

- Actual USPS shipping rates by weight and size

-Packaging materials(boxes, envelopes, padding, labels, tape)

-Time and care put into creating each unique order

-Occasional handling fees help us stay sustainable

- we've worked hard to keep prices as low and accurate as possible_often absorbing some of the cost ourselves-so that you can still enjoy affordable crafting supplies without inflated shipping fees

-Since many of our items are lightweight and small, we have created a tiered shipping chart based on weight to make it predictable and fair,
